CAD Designer

Rubicon Consulting-is currently recruiting for CAD Designer on a 12 Month Contract, based in London/ Hybrid

Role Summary

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Interpret from in the field sketches, specifications, and technical data to produce accurate designs. Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain organized records of drawings and project files
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
• Perform quality checks to identify and correct design errors

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings
• Basic knowledge of materials, construction, or manufacturing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications
