CAD Designer - Roofing and Cladding Technical Designer / CAD Technician £40,000 £45,000 per annum Chester About Us My client is a leading specialist in the design and installation of high-quality external structures, including Cladding and facades. Their team is growing, and they are now seeking a talented Technical Designer / CAD Technician to support our expanding project portfolio. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a design professional from a construction background to join a dynamic and collaborative team. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and design documentation for a wide variety of bespoke canopy and external structure projects. Key Responsibilities Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models using AutoCAD (or equivalent). Develop detailed fabrication and installation drawings for manufacturing and site teams. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to turn client requirements into buildable solutions. Assist in the development of standard details and design templates. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and building regulations. Attend project meetings where required to understand and interpret site-specific challenges.
