CAD Designer

Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Halesowen
Type: Full time and permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (DOE)
 
Pertemps Dudley are currently seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join a well established manufacturing business based in Halesowen. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a innovative team working on diverse design and development projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks 2024 and DraftSight
- Modify and update existing CAD drawings in line with design changes
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering and project teams to ensure accurate design implementation
- Support prototype development and product revisions
- Maintain drawing records and adhere to design standards and quality protocols

 
Requirements:

- Proven experience using SolidWorks (ideally 2024) and DraftSight
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
