As CAD Designer you will be using Inventor and Fusion360, although SolidWorks experience is transferable, to design and develop 3D models and technical drawings, but it is not just about the software, as a CAD Designer you will take a concept from a sketch on paper through to something that works in the real world. Sheet metal, machining, fabrication, you will understand the process from start to finish, how components fit together, and how the design will function once built.
 
You will be customer facing too... working with clients to turn their ideas into practical, manufacturable designs, it''s all about listening, interpreting and creating solutions that not only look right but perform properly.

What will help you succeed here as their CAD Designer ?

• Mechanical design experience
• Confidence working with tolerances and detail
• The ability to think beyond the drawing and understand how things will work in practice
• Strong 3D CAD skills, whether that is Inventor, Fusion360 or SolidWorks
• A natural way with customers, turning concepts into reality

The salary on offer here is between £30,000 and £40,000, depending on the experience you are bringing.
