CAD Designer / CNC Programmer

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CAD Designer / CNC Programmer to join our client, an established manufacturing business based in Witham. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to develop their career. The successful candidate will produce technical designs and manufacturing information, working closely with experienced designers and the production team to ensure orders are accurately prepared for manufacture. The position would suit a recent engineering, product design or manufacturing graduate, an early-career CAD Designer, or someone with existing experience in design and CNC programming. Roles and Responsibilities Producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for manufacture. Creating and developing designs using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Reviewing customer orders, drawings and specifications. Translating design information into accurate manufacturing instructions. Programming CNC machinery using VCarve or similar software. Preparing cutting files and toolpaths for production. Checking drawings, measurements and specifications before orders are released to manufacture. Working closely with the production team to resolve technical queries. Making design amendments where required. Supporting the continued improvement of design and manufacturing processes.
