The business produces 3D models and fabrication drawings for steel fabricators across the UK, covering structural steel frames, plant platforms and architectural metalwork such as balconies, balustrades, louvres and planters, and it works alongside a sister company that designs and builds spectator stands for football clubs and sports grounds. This is a key hire. The CAD Designer will work directly with fabricators, turning architects'' and engineers'' drawings into accurate 3D models, GA drawings and shop ready fabrication drawings, and over time will become the main point of contact for the drawing work while the director focuses on growing the business. The responsibilities of the CAD Designer will include Building accurate 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel from architectural and structural engineers'' drawings and calculations.
