CAD Design Engineer HVAC

We-are-looking-to-recruit-a-CAD-Design-Engineer-/-Draughtsman-to-work-across-a-range-of-specialised-projects-within-the-Heating,-Ventilation-and-Air-Conditioning-(HVAC)-industry.

Key-Requirements

• Proven-3D-design-experience,-ideally-delivering-HVAC-designs-on-time-and-to-specification
• Experience-using-Inventor-and-AutoCAD
• Strong-attention-to-detail
• Effective-verbal-and-written-communication-skills
• Good-time-management-and-organisational-ability
• Experience-in-sheet-metal-and-steelwork-design-and-fabrication
• Awareness-of-quality-and-compliance-requirements
• Ability-to-work-as-part-of-a-team-focused-environment
• Flexible-approach-to-support-business-and-project-needs

Key-Responsibilities

• Ensure-all-designs-meet-company-and-statutory-standards
• Coordinate-the-development-and-delivery-of-mechanical-engineering-designs-and-documentation-in-line-with-project-programmes
• Identify-and-communicate-engineering-risks-to-the-Project-Manager
• Provide-mechanical-engineering-support-for-fabrication,-technical-assembly,-installation,-and-commissioning
• Produce-cost-effective-designs-while-maintaining-required-quality-standards
• Check-GA-and-fabrication-drawings-prior-to-issue
• Produce-mechanical-GA-drawings-and-detailed-fabrication-drawings
• Prepare-supporting-documentation-including-parts-lists-and-flat-pack-details
• Liaise-closely-with-Project-Managers-and-the-wider-engineering-team-to-ensure-robust-and-practical-designs
