CAD Design Engineer

Design Engineer / Design Draughtsperson Location: South East SheffieldSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experienceBenefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, loyalty bonus, training and development opportunities The Opportunity Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established engineering business to recruit an experienced Design Engineer / Design Draughtsperson to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced designer with a background in materials handling, mechanical engineering and/or structural steelwork to work on a varied portfolio of bespoke projects. The successful candidate will be involved throughout the design process, from site surveys and initial General Arrangements through to detailed manufacturing drawings, working closely with engineering, fabrication and project teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions. Ideally, you will have 5+ years'' experience in a similar design/draughting environment, with experience of heavy-duty conveyors, chutes, hoppers, silos, pipework, large ductwork, structural steelwork, staircases and platforms. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the engineering team to develop bespoke design solutions for materials handling and structural steelwork projects.
