The role will involve creating accurate 3D geometry based on existing designs and CAD data, supporting the development of specialist UAS sub-module components and assemblies. Key Responsibilities: Developing detailed 3D CAD geometry from existing designs and technical data Smooth Surface Modelling Skeleton Modelling using a top-down approach Sub-modules for integration onto UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Working with Creo to create, modify and refine aerospace components Using WINDCHILL for CAD data and file management Applying the AAX plugin for Creo where required Supporting the design of aerodynamic enclosures and radomes Liaising with manufacturing facilities to support the fast-turnaround production of parts Helping to determine suitable materials and manufacturing methods Maintaining accurate design records and ensuring work meets relevant technical requirements Job Requirements: Experience in 3D CAD engineering, ideally within the aerospace industry UAS, Drone or Radome experience ...
