They manufacture a wide range of sheet metal products and offer services including laser cutting, punching, folding, fabrication and powder coating. They produce everything in-house, supplying customers in the retail, industrial and merchandising sectors.About the RoleThey are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Programmer to join an expanding Programming Department. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying and nesting sheet metal components using CAD software to support efficient laser cutting and fabrication processes. Working closely with production and customers, you will ensure programmes are accurate, cost-effective and suitable for manufacture.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess customer drawings and specifications accurately and efficiently.Create, modify and nest sheet metal parts using CAD software such as BySoft, Radan or Lantek.Convert 2D and 3D CAD models, hand sketches and customer samples into production-ready programmes.Optimise nesting layouts to maximise material utilisation ..... full job details .....
