CAD / BIM Technician Location: Cornwall - Site Based Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Employment Type: Permanent Security Clearance: BPSS Hours: 37.5 per week The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for a CAD / BIM Technician to join a major engineering and construction project in Cornwall, working within a multidisciplinary Engineering Services team. This role will suit a CAD / BIM Technician, Revit Technician, BIM Technician or MEP Technician with strong experience in AutoCAD and Revit who is looking to work on a major, technically complex project. You will be responsible for producing accurate 2D drawings and coordinated 3D BIM models, supporting the delivery of electrical and building services systems from design through to construction. Working closely with engineers, designers, contractors and supply chain partners, you will play an important role in ensuring designs are coordinated, technically accurate and delivered to the required standards. The position offers the opportunity to develop your digital engineering expertise while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary project environment. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit. Develop and maintain coordinated models for electrical and building services systems.
