Cable Containment - V04439

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking skilled professionals for a Cable Containment position within the Marine Defence discipline. This contract role, based in Govan, is part of a 12-month project focusing on Naval Ships, and offers day shift work to start with.

• Performing cable installation, containment, and reaving
• Carrying out certain cable containment tasks
• Providing ancillary duties in support of electricians
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations

• Experience in cable containment, preferably within the Marine Defence sector
• Familiarity with cable reaving and installation practices
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Understanding of health and safety best practices
• BAE-specific experience; particularly in BAEGlasgow and BAE-trades-electrician roles

• Position involves working on Naval Ships
• The role does not require specific trade papers
• Initial headcount is 20, expected to grow
