Cable Assembly Operative 13ph holiday accrued or 14.50ph Holiday paid SouthallProactive are urgently recruiting for Cable Assembly Operative to works in our busy cable department assembling data and power cables to a high standard of quality.Responsibilities include:Carry out the cable assembly process, including soldering, as instructed by following printed assembly instruction documentsCarry out custom labelling of cable assembly products as instructed by supervisor and by following printed custom label instruction documentsCarry out quality control of cable assemblies following written instructional documentsAdvise Cable Lead of any broken, incomplete parts, as well as inconsistencies/safety hazards.Transport connectors and cables from warehouse to assembly areaStack/organize completed cable assemblies per work order or sales orderTest all cables and place individual tested labels on "main" cablesSkills/RequirementsGood working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, basic connectivity issues and assembly conceptsSoldering skillsCable assembly experienceElectrical assembly experienceElectronic assembly experienceExperience working with electrical connectors, cable, or wiresFamiliarity with the use of hand tools - especially electrical hand tools (wire cutters, wire strippers, connector crimp tools etc)Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to FridayLocation: Southall, UB2Rate : 13 holiday accrued or 14.50 Holiday paidHow to Apply:For more information on the role, or any discussion ..... full job details .....
