This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering full on-the-job training and the chance to join a busy production team. Roles and Responsibilities Following written work orders and detailed work instructions Measuring, cutting, stripping, wrapping and soldering cables Using a variety of hand tools safely and effectively Performing electrical insulation and continuity testing Carrying out visual inspections for cuts, abrasions, dents, scratches, cleanliness and surface finish Working to daily production demands as set by the department supervisor Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and housekeeping within the work area Writing concessions and marking up work orders when required Following all health and safety procedures including the use of PPE such as gloves, respirators, suits, safety footwear and local extraction systems Assisting across multiple stages of the assembly process as required Experience, Skills and Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience desirable Good level of physical fitness with the ability to ca...
