Reporting to the Cabling Supervisor, you will play a key role in the assembly, testing and delivery of high-quality cable and wiring assemblies, supporting both prototype and production programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused individual with cable assembly experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contributing to innovative engineering projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble cable and wiring assemblies from engineering drawings and specificationsWork on both prototype and production buildsCrimp pins onto wires and fit connectors accuratelyLace cables using Kevlar or Nylon cordApply braid and heat shrink to cable loomsCarry out continuity testing on completed cable assembliesVerify cable dimensions using measuring equipmentApply identification labels to finished assembliesAssist with crimp pull-off testingFit and shrink environmental connector bootsSupport connector population and assembly activitiesSolder wires into connectorsEnsure build modifications are documented and communicated appropriatelyLiaise with Production Control regarding incomplete kits or shortagesSkills and ExperienceEssentialProven experience in a Cable ..... full job details .....
