Cable Assemblers Wanted – Join a Growing Electronics Team!
We’re working with a well-established electronics manufacturer in Portsmouth who specialise in high-quality assembly work. They’re offering a day shift role that starts on a temporary and leads to a permanent role from 12 weeks for the right people.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assembling and wiring cables, harnesses, and looms to engineering drawings and specifications
Carrying out crimping, soldering, and cable terminations
Using hand tools and testing equipment to check quality and accuracy
Working to production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Following health, safety, and quality procedures on site
What’s Required:
Previous experience in cable assembly, wiring, or similar manufacturing/production environment
Ability to read and work from technical drawings or instructions
Competence with hand tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, and cutters
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
