Cable Assembler – Portsmouth

Portsmouth | £12.50 – £13.50 per hour | Temporary Contract

We’re currently seeking a Cable Assembler to join a busy and supportive team based in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established company on a temporary day-shift contract, with competitive pay and a great working environment.

As a Cable Assembler, you’ll be responsible for assembling electrical cables and wire harnesses following technical drawings and work instructions. Your duties will include:

• Cutting, stripping, and preparing wires and cables

• Crimping, soldering, and attaching connectors

• Assembling wire harnesses and cable looms

• Performing basic testing and visual inspections

• Reading and interpreting diagrams and assembly instructions

• Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings

• Previous experience in cable assembly or a similar manufacturing role is preferred

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

• Qualifications are not required - only experience and a good attitude!

• Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

• £12.50 – £13.50 per hour, depending on experience

• Temporary contract

Portsmouth – easily accessible with good local transport links.
