C++ Software Engineer

Nicholas Howard are delighted to be recruiting for a C++ Software Engineer-to join a leading global defence client on an initial 6 month contract.

Key skills required:

• Proven background within C++ and Object Oriented Development.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)-(e.g. Greenhills, QNX, VxWorks).
• Experinced working as part of an integrated team on a large-scale programme.
• Solid communication and team working skills

Additional skills of interest include:

• Knowledge of UML modelling for software, particularly in Rhapsody.
• Safety Related Systems e.g. IEC 65108.
• Knowledge of DDS (Data Distribution Systems).
• Embedded systems development.
• CAN/MilCAN buses.
• Parasoft C++ test development.

Please note eligibility for SC clearance is required for this role, if not already held.- Can start on basic clearance.- The role an start on basic clearance.
