Class 1 (C E) Trunk Driver – (Temp to Perm)
Location: Normanton
Start Date: Monday, 2nd June
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0600–1500 (Monday start at 0800 but paid from 0600)

Pay:

• Initial 12-week temp period paid at C E agency rates
• Permanent salary: £40,000 per annum (based on a 48-hour week, including paid 45-minute break)
• No weekends or bank holiday working

 
 
The Role:
We’re seeking a dedicated and professional C E driver for a full-time trunking role. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a view to provide long-term stability for the right candidate.
 
Duties Include:
 

• Monday: Preloaded trailer from Normanton to Lutterworth. Driver will self-tip and reload at Lutterworth.
• Tuesday to Friday:
• Assist inbound night drivers with offloading Toyota stock
• Reload this stock onto your own vehicle
• Trunk to Lutterworth for tip and reload
• Ensure vehicle is loaded correctly and securely
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams

 
The Ideal Candidate:

• Understands and takes ownership of their daily vehicle operations
• Is proactive and willing to assist with loading/unloading duties
• Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their role
• Holds a valid C E licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card
• Has a clean driving record and excellent timekeeping
• Minimum 6 months experience
