C# / C++ Software Engineer

Location: Bolton (fully onsite)Duration: 12 monthsRate: 65ph UMB (Inside IR35) Role details:We are looking for a C# / C++ Software Engineer to join our client in Bolton, Greater Manchester. Working within a team of software engineers, the role will focus on developing, integrating and maintaining Windows-based data capture, analysis and training systems that support complex products and their associated subsystems. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop system interface software to capture and analyse performance dataSupport the setting to work of software on Windows hardware for target testingArchitect and implement robust, scalable and maintainable multi-threaded applicationsContribute to the design, development, integration and verification of software solutionsLead and support system integration, verification and testing at component and system levelsCarry out performance analysis, debugging and optimisation of real-time systemsWork closely with subsystem design teams and manufacturing teamsDocument software architecture, interface definitions and test procedures to support formal testing and handoverJob Requirements:Extensive experience in C++ and C# development within a Windows environmentStrong proficiency in C#, including its use for tooling, test interfaces and Windows componentsExperience developing multi-threaded and concurrent software applicationsStrong understanding of software design principles, memory management and performance optimisationExperience with ..... full job details .....
