This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy procurement function within a technical, fast-paced environment.This role will focus on placing orders, expediting materials, and managing both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met.The RoleAs a Buyer, you will support day-to-day procurement activity, ensuring materials are delivered in line with production demands.Key responsibilities include:Placing and managing purchase orders for materials and componentsChallenging and influencing stakeholders to meet delivery timelinesReviewing demand and coordinating with suppliers to ensure continuity of supplyActing as a key point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery and invoice queriesMonitoring supplier performance and supporting improvements where requiredManaging inventory levels using ERP/MRP systemsCandidate ProfileExperience in a Buyer / Procurement / Materials Planning roleBackground within a manufacturing or technical environmentExperience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MRP processesStrong communication skills with the confidence to push back and influence stakeholdersOrganised, proactive, and able to work independentlyAdditional Information 250 per dayBased on-site in ..... full job details .....
