This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable engineering business supplying into critical, highly regulated industries, with a strong focus on quality, precision, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials, components, and services to support production and business requirements.Key Responsibilities Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and services in line with production requirements and business demand. Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are achieved. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to deliver best value and cost efficiencies. Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues proactively. Work closely with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability and continuity of supply. Analyse inventory levels, demand forecasts, and purchasing trends to support effective stock management. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives across the supply base. Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and purchasing data within ERP systems.
