Free parking. Christmas shutdown. The Role An excellent opportunity for a Buyer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Burgess Hill. The Buyer will play a key role within the procurement function, reporting into the wider operations team and taking responsibility for supplier management, purchasing activities and stock availability. The successful Buyer will help ensure materials are sourced competitively and delivered on time to support production requirements. Managing all aspects of the purchasing and buying function. Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating pricing, terms and agreements. Raising and managing purchase orders. Ensuring shipments arrive in line with business requirements. Developing purchasing strategies to achieve the best overall value. Monitoring stock levels and material availability. Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
