      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: 35000.00-35000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | We are currently recruiting on behalf of a company based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are on the hunt for a Buyer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective procurement strategy that ensure the business has access to the right products, at the best cost from the right supplier.  Key Duties:  Develop and implement sourcing plans that align with business needs and operational priorities.   Source products from approved suppliers, ensuring commercial competitiveness and continuity of supply. Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier acknowledgements and delivery commitments. Negotiate pricing, trading terms, rebates, promotional support, and supply agreements within agreed authority levels. Support supplier tenders, contract renewals, and procurement projects.   Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs, including service, quality, delivery, and commercial compliance.   Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and commodity movements to inform purchasing decisions. Identify and deliver cost reduction and value improvement opportunities.
