      <description>Location: Basingstoke | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;50000/annum Plus Package | Type: Permanent | We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer or Buyer to join a new region of an award-winning Housebuilder with their region based in Berkshire.  The ideal candidate will have exposure to residential construction; volume is preferred but not a pre-requisite. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing region and work on a brand new scheme.   Key Responsibilities:      Procurement &amp; Package Management:  Command all procurement workflows for the their brand new development, taking full ownership of scheduling, negotiating, and managing the end-to-end buying process for the site.    Supply Chain &amp; Subcontractor Operations:  Coordinate subcontract packages across the South Coast, Thames Valley, and South Midlands regions, ensuring commercial alignment, accurate forecasting, and rigorous cost control.    Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Partner closely with the Head of Commercial, site teams, and the wider commercial department to ensure seamless procurement progression from pre-construction to final project handover.
