Buyer - Poole - Up to £35,000You''ll take ownership of purchasing decisions that keep production running to schedule as a Buyer.This is a role for someone who takes pride in getting the detail right, every time.Every order, every supplier query, every shortage relies on you to bring order and structure.As a Buyer, you will benefit from: Holiday entitlement of 172.5 hours (4.6 weeks), with hours reserved each year for the Christmas shutdownEnhanced company sick pay on a staggered, incremental basisOn-site car parkingExtra holiday awarded at your 2 year and 5 year work anniversariesCompany-funded Christmas and summer partiesAd hoc company activities, such as Pancake Day, with food provided on siteAn early finish every Friday at 1pm As a Buyer, your responsibilities will include: Place and manage purchase orders in line with MRP signals, production schedules and customer demandChase suppliers proactively to secure on time delivery and resolve order queriesMonitor inventory levels and work with Planning, Stores and Production to resolve material shortagesMaintain accurate purchasing and material data within the ERP/MRP systemSupport BOM accuracy by flagging component availability or lifecycle concernsGenerate purchasing and supplier performance reports As a Buyer, your experience will include: Previous experience in a Buyer or purchasing roleExperience working in an electronics manufacturing or engineering environmentConfidence using ERP/MRP systemsStrong working knowledge of ..... full job details .....
