Salary is up to 50K. There may also be a potential for this role to go permanent, dependent on the Candidate but there is business growth. Working closely with the Commercial Team you will be running live housing sites and responsible for bulk buying to contribute to the procurement of quality materials and services essential to the successful delivery of construction projects.Job Duties Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for materials and services required for construction projects. Manage purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance for reporting purposes. Work closely with project managers and site teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery to meet project schedules. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function. Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
