An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join a well-established, forward-thinking organisation operating within a complex technical and operational environment.This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering best value across a diverse range of procurement categories, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.The RoleAs a Buyer, you will be involved in end-to-end procurement processes - from sourcing and tendering through to contract award and supplier management - ensuring all activity is compliant, ethical, and commercially robust.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport procurement activity across technical and operational categoriesManage tender processes, including documentation, evaluation, and supplier selectionAnalyse bids and commercial submissions to ensure best valueLead and support negotiations with suppliersDraft and manage contracts through to executionEnsure procurement activities meet policy, legal, and ethical standardsMonitor supplier performance and support contract management activitiesIdentify and manage commercial risksBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partnersAbout YouExperience in procurement, purchasing, or a technical/project-based environmentFamiliar with structured procurement or contract management processesStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsComfortable working with ERP/procurement systems (e.g. SAP or similar)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office ..... full job details .....
