This is a rare opportunity to join a long-established and highly regarded retailer with a reputation for quality, service and a carefully curated product offering. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the fashion department, developing a distinctive range that reflects the Bakers and Larners brand whilst delivering strong commercial performance. Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations, you will take ownership of the buying strategy across womenswear, menswear and accessories, identifying opportunities to enhance the product offer, introducing new brands and ensuring ranges resonate with the store''s loyal customer base. The role will involve:Developing and delivering seasonal buying strategies across fashion categories.Sourcing and selecting commercially successful product ranges aligned with customer demand and brand values.Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and brands.Negotiating pricing, delivery schedules and commercial terms.Monitoring sales performance, margins and stock levels to maximise profitability.Identifying and responding to market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences.Working collaboratively with retail, visual merchandising and marketing teams to drive sales ..... full job details .....
