Job Role:- BuyerContract:- PermanentLocation:- St Helens (WA9 4HU) - Office Based Role onlySalary:- 37,500 - 42,000 (DOE)Hours:- Mon to Fri - 09:00 - 17:00CompanyWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer for our client who specialise in precision machined components for high profile industries which include the Aerospace, Petrol Chemical and Power Generation.Role OverviewThe company Buyer will be responsible for the purchasing and management of stock, materials andservices to ensure that the companies operational needs are met, taking into account price,quality and delivery whilst ensuring continuity of supply.As the Buyer your responsibilities will include ;Planning and managing all company procurementsCoordinating and monitoring all purchasing activityMaintaining commercial relations with domestic and international suppliersCost reductionSupply chain management - Arranging transport of goods and tracking Purchase Orders to ensure timely deliveryExpeditingRationalising supplier data base and suppliersManaging annual purchasing budget and meet and exceed purchasing budgetsMaintaining and managing supplier data baseIdentifying the organisations purchasing needsAnalyse trends, research, selecting and purchasing quality products and materialsBuilding relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescalesProcessing requisitions and updating management on the status of ordersCoordinating with sales team, ..... full job details .....
