Buyer - Full Time / Permanent Location: Oxford (towards Kidlington) Reports to: Head of Purchasing Salary: up to 40k DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially minded Buyer to join a growing team in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a supplier portfolio and contribute to the development of a dynamic product range that reflects market trends and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate trading agreements
• Monitor product pricing and support promotional activity
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and expand supplier base
• Attend trade shows and pitch new product ideas
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify trends
• Lead category reviews and manage product performance
• Handle new product enquiries and range development
• Analyse data and provide actionable insights to improve results

Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience in a purchasing or buying role
• Proven negotiation skills with suppliers
• Degree or CIPS qualification desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quick to learn new systems
