      <description>Location: Sinfin | Salary: &amp;pound;33000 - &amp;pound;40000/annum | Type: Permanent | We are recruiting for an experienced  Buyer  to join a fast-paced, high-performance engineering business supporting cutting-edge engineering projects.  As a Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring components, machined parts, composites, electronics and other performance-critical parts, while managing supplier relationships, negotiations, logistics and delivery schedules.  Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams, you''ll ensure materials are delivered on time, at the right cost and quality.   Key Requirements:    The Buyer will need to have a minimum of 3 years'' buying/procurement experience within a mechanical/ engineering/ manufacturing environment or a similar technical environment.  Supplier management and commercial negotiation skills.  The Buyer will need to have experience sourcing technical components and interpreting engineering drawings/specifications.  The Buyer will need to have a knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Sage experience advantageous).  Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
