Your responsibilities will include:Order Management: Placing and authorising purchase orders within assigned limits, while expediting orders and tracking deliveries.Inventory Oversight: Maintaining inventory availability and minimising working capital investment.Decision Making: Executing stock replenishment, special orders, and drop ship buying, always making cost-effective buying decisions.Communication: Ensuring accurate purchase order quantities, costs, and terms compliance, while effectively communicating with suppliers and internal departments.Problem Resolution: Addressing shipping errors and following up on order statuses to ensure timely delivery.Supplier Performance: Assisting in evaluating supplier performance based on delivery, fill rates, and other key metrics.
