Ready to take ownership of technical purchasing in a fast-moving, growing business? We’re looking for a commercially focused Buyer with a minimum of one years’ experience, who knows how to source smart, negotiate confidently and keep supply moving.

Based in Stevenage, you’ll work across a broad range of technical products and suppliers, supporting customers in demanding sectors including Defence, Aerospace, Automotive and Medical.

The Buyers role

• Source technical products, materials and services with a focus on cost, quality, availability and lead times.
• Negotiate pricing, supplier terms and commercial agreements.
• Manage RFQs, track supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Solve supply challenges quickly, including shortages, lead-time pressures and alternative sourcing.
• Work closely with sales, technical and operations teams to support customer requirements and business growth.

About you

• Experience in technical buying, purchasing or procurement.
• Confident negotiating with suppliers and managing commercial detail.
• Comfortable using purchasing, ERP, RFQ or supplier management systems.
• Proactive, resilient and quick to find solutions.
• A strong communicator who builds great supplier, customer and internal relationships.
