As a Buyer within this business, you''ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the procurement and supply chain operations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve strategic sourcing for project based work, managing supplier relationships, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.

Description

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Lead large scale commercial pricing projects
• Be a part of creating and developing long term strategies for specific categories within the business
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for procurement improvements.
• Review contracts and terms with supply base
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Experience in procurement/purchasing at a strategic level
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and policies.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
• An analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from -40,000 to -50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position in Banbury
