Buyer

A rapidly growing, high-tech manufacturer require a Buyer to be responsible for procurement, supplier management, inventory control, goods-in/out and production planning support activities, as the company continues to scale. Applicants should have procurement, supply chain, purchasing or inventory control experience, have strong analytical skills, enjoy variety in their work and be seeking a progressive career within procurement and supply chain. The Buyer will work closely with manufacturing, engineering and commercial teams, taking responsibility for purchasing activities, supplier management, inventory control, goods-in/out, logistics and production planning support. The role offers significant variety and the opportunity to help develop robust supply chain processes within an expanding company. Specific duties of the Buyer include:Raise purchase orders, obtain supplier quotations and monitor delivery schedulesDevelop supplier relationships, manage supplier performance and support supplier onboardingReceive deliveries, maintain inventory records and support stock control activitiesArrange shipping, returns and courier documentationSupport production planning by monitoring material demand and identifying supply risksHelp develop inventory management processes, including reorder points and minimum stock levelsContribute to procurement, supplier management and inventory process improvementsMaintain purchasing, supplier and inventory documentation within QMSWork ..... full job details .....
