Proven experience as a Buyer within a manufacturing environment.A leading global manufacturing business are currently recruiting for a Buyer on a full time, Permanent basis in Pulborough, West Sussex.Role - Buyer Type - Permanent Location - Pulborough, West Sussex (Hybrid available after probation, 3 days onsite)Key responsibilities for the Buyer will include and will not be limited to:Place purchase orders in line with ERP requirements to support production and project deadlinesExpedite material supply with selected suppliers and produce weekly expedite reportsAnalyse ERP exception messages and take action to prevent shortages and maintain flow of materialsManage selected suppliers to improve on time delivery and control inventory levelsPrepare and issue electronic document packs to support custom part orders (for example drawings, BOMs and related files)Liaise closely with Engineering, Planning, Sales and Manufacturing to support delivery prioritiesContribute to process improvements and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and health and safety requirements Key skills and experience required for Buyer job applicant and will not be limited to:Experience in a Buyer or purchasing role supporting manufacturing or production environmentsStrong working knowledge of ERP systems and confident use of MS OfficeAbility to manage supplier relationships and communicate clearly with internal stakeholdersStrong attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem solving and decision ..... full job details .....
