Working Hours

• First Day (Induction): 9:00am start
• Standard Working Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company procurement procedures.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage purchasing activities, supplier information, and order processing.
• Maintain and manage the order book, ensuring delivery dates and order statuses are accurate.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively chase outstanding orders.
• Expedite critical materials and components to support production schedules.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, and Engineering teams to prioritise material requirements.
• Identify and escalate supply chain risks that could impact manufacturing deadlines.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier commitments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure all purchasing activity complies with company policies and commercial requirements.

• Previous experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Procurement role.
• Ideally from a manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and Purchase Order management.
• Experience managing supplier order books and delivery schedules.
• Proven ability to expedite parts and materials to meet urgent production demands.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
