What You Will Do: - Source and procure goods and services in line with company procurement processes and procedures for the Buyer role- Locate, develop, and manage a portfolio of suppliers, including obtaining and evaluating quotations based on price, quality, and lead time- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to minimise risk and reduce total supply costs while improving performance as a Buyer- Raise and manage purchase orders using the company ERP system, while maintaining accurate supplier records and databases- Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery and quality, and resolve shortages, quality concerns, or delivery delays- Work closely with engineering, assembly, planning, quality, and customer support to support production continuity and ensure purchased materials meet specifications What You Will Bring: - Experience in purchasing within an engineering environment, with a solid understanding of mechanical components, engineering drawings, and specifications- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ..... full job details .....
