Buyer - International Sourcing

B G Automotive is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Buyer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong purchasing experience, particularly in sourcing and importing from the Far East. You''ll play a key role in identifying, negotiating with, and managing overseas suppliers to ensure our business gets the right products at the right price. The Role As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing automotive parts and products from Far East markets, negotiating pricing and terms, and building strong supplier relationships overseas. Your key responsibilities will include: Sourcing and purchasing automotive parts, products and associated materials from Far East suppliers, in line with business requirements. Identifying and developing new supplier relationships. Managing day-to-day relationships with existing overseas suppliers. Negotiating pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial agreements with suppliers. Monitoring market trends, product developments and supplier changes across sourcing regions. Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins through overseas sourcing. Working closely with sales, warehouse, accounts and management teams. Monitoring supplier performance, pricing and lead times. Resolving purchasing, delivery and product-related issues efficiently. Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records.
