      <description>Location: Yeovil | Salary: &amp;pound;19.10/hour | Type: Temporary | Buyer  /  Yeovil (Hybrid) | -19.10 per hour PAYE    A leading Aerospace &amp; Defence organisation is looking for an experienced  Buyer  to support a busy  mechanical hardware  commodity area. High-volume role requiring strong supplier management and SAP purchasing experience.  Responsibilities   Issue RFQs/AFPs, chase and evaluate supplier quotes  Prepare selection reports and support negotiations  Raise/manage PRs and POs in  SAP  (including against  LTAs )  Create vendor lists and request technical data (2D/3D drawings, specs)  Invoice clearance and discrepancy resolution  QN management and supplier pre-qual/qualification support  Maintain country of origin/classification data  Work with Operations, CS&amp;S and Finance to meet KPI targets   Requirements   Proven Buyer/procurement experience (engineering/manufacturing desirable)  Confident using  SAP  (PR/PO/RFQ processes)  Strong communication/negotiation, able to manage multiple priorities  High attention to detail and supplier-focused approach   This is an initial 6 month temporary contract with the potential to extend  Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, Hybrid  Should you require any support or assistance, please contact yo...</description>
