Operating within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this business supplies a wide range of products to major retailers and foodservice customers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional looking to develop their career within a large and dynamic manufacturing operation.

About the Role

• Manage the procurement of ingredients and raw materials across multiple categories
• Build, develop, and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements
• Work closely with Production, Planning, NPD, Technical, and Supply Chain teams
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to drive cost savings and efficiencies
• Ensure continuity of supply to support a demanding manufacturing operation
• Support procurement strategy and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Previous experience in a Buyer, Procurement, Purchasing, or Category role
• Experience within Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Ingredients, or a related sector would be highly advantageous
• Strong negotiation and supplier management
• skillsCommercially minded with excellent analytical abilities
• Able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at alllevels
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
• Proactive, organised, and driven to deliver results
