The OpportunityWe are seeking a Buyer to join a busy procurement team supporting site operations and project delivery within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to play a key role in sourcing activities, supplier management, cost optimisation, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Engineering, Quality and Operations to ensure the successful delivery of procurement solutions that support business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary procurement contact for the site, managing procurement requests and supporting purchasing decisions.Lead and support sourcing activities, including supplier engagement, quotation analysis, negotiations and supplier selection.Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring delivery, quality and compliance standards are met.Support cost reduction and cash improvement initiatives through market analysis, supplier negotiations and purchase price variance reviews.Assist with supplier risk management and continuity planning to ensure security of supply.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions that support operational and project requirements.Maintain compliance with company procurement policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Support procurement activity across indirect spend, capital expenditure and MRO categories where required.Skills and Experience ..... full job details .....
