Escape Recruitment is working with a growing manufacturing business to recruit a Buyer Expeditor to join their Supply Chain team.This is a busy, hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring raw materials are available to support production, working closely with suppliers to manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, inventory levels and supply issues.With significant business growth planned over the coming years, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.The RoleAs Buyer Expeditor, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth flow of materials into the business, ensuring production demands are met while balancing stock levels and supplier performance. Key responsibilities include:Raising and managing purchase orders for raw materials and componentsExpediting orders and maintaining regular communication with suppliersMonitoring supplier lead times and delivery performanceManaging inventory levels in line with agreed min/max stock parametersBooking and coordinating supplier deliveriesUpdating and maintaining purchasing data within SAPResponding quickly to changes in production plans and material requirementsWorking closely with Production, Planning and Warehouse teams to resolve supply issuesMonitoring forecast demand and ensuring materials are available to support business requirementsInvestigating and resolving shortages, delays and supplier-related issuesSupporting continuous improvement across ..... full job details .....
