Construction Buyer - Temporary (Full Time) - 6 months - Northampton-

We are looking to appoint a Buyer within construction, to work along side a-current Buying Team.- This role is available immediately and will be a 6 month placement.

As a result of system changes for our client,-additional support is required to maintain the day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will be reporting to a-Senior and Chief Buyer, with the ultimate aim to process orders when materials are required on site for housing projects.-

You will be expected to:

• Process material orders
• Schedule material deliveries to site when necessary
• Make telephone calls to/from suppliers
• Deal with enquiries from sites regarding deliveries and orders
• Assist with tender enquiries, tender analysis, schedule checking, raising bulk orders from tender
• Assist other Buyers as required
• Price updates of existing bulk orders

Skill set required:

• House Building or Construction Buyer experience preferred
• General computer knowledge
• High level of interpersonal skills and customer service
• Ability to work within a team

Working Hours are 9-5.30 with 1 hour for lunch.- These hours can be flexible if you prefer to start earlier and finish earlier.
