Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to help build a cost-effective, high-performing supply chain that supports the growing demands of a dynamic technology company. The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing and developing international supplier relationships, demonstrate strong commercial acumen, and thrive in a results-focused environment.

The Role:

Manage key supplier accounts to ensure performance, delivery, and value for money.
Schedule materials to align with production requirements and customer demand.
Support continuous improvement across the international supplier base.
Work alongside the Senior Buyer to help define and deliver purchasing strategies.
Monitor and manage the lifecycle of components, including obsolescence issues.

Key Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

• CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply (or currently working towards it).

Experience and Skills

• Procurement or supply chain experience within the electronics and/or telecommunications sectors.
• Familiarity with managing offshore contract manufacturing partners.
• Involvement in product development from initial concept through to volume production.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
