Buyer

Role: Buyer (Direct)
Location: Peterlee
Rate: -34 per hour Umbrella (Inside IR35) OR -25 PAYE

We are looking for a buyer to join a global automotive company with offices in Peterlee, Durham buying materials and components for the manufacturing shopfloor.

Responsibilities:

• Agreements are already set up, you will need to be sure what is ordered is correct, can be shipped on time and will be of the right quality.
• Refer to engineering drawings and BOMs and parts lists to source alternatives when required.

• Engineering or manufacturing background.
• Direct material procurement experience.
• SAP experience.
