Description

As Interim Buyer you will report into the Supply Chain Manager, Duties will include, however, not be limited to:

• Source and procure goods and raw materials in line with company requirements and policies.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for money.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to diversify and improve the supply chain.
• Resolve any supply chain issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

Profile

A successful Interim Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
