Description

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal cost and quality.
• Monitor market trends and source new suppliers that align with business needs.
• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Analyse purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Retail department to forecast and meet inventory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement performance and supplier evaluations.
• Resolve any supply chain issues to minimise disruptions to operations.
• Support the implementation of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
• A strong understanding of the Retail department''s needs and priorities.
• Relevant educational qualifications in business, supply chain, or a related field.
