Are you a Buyer or similar with a background in the Construction industry looking for a varied role within a well-established company?

Do you want to work for a business renowned for their low staff turnover, and excellent industry reputation offering ongoing development?

This family owned company established over 50 years ago have since seen steady growth, now with a 20+ staff on site, they offer Civil Engineering services to a range of big name Commercial clients including Costa, Starbucks and Peugeot including full design and build as well as refurbishment. Due to the retirement of their existing Buyer, they are now looking to add someone to their tight-knit team.

In this varied role you will be office based, joining a tight-knit you will liaise closely with colleagues including Managing Directors as well as Engineers. You will order materials and plant equipment for upcoming and ongoing projects, liaising with suppliers and negotiating rates.

This role would suit a Buyer or similar from a Construction background looking to join a tight-knit team within a company known for their excellent staff retention and industry reputation.

The Role:

• Liaise with key suppliers, building relationships and negotiating rates.
• Order materials and plant equipment.
• Monday - Friday office based.

The Person:

• Buyer or similar.
• Background in Construction.
• Commutable to Horwich office.
